Hey CrossFit Amethyst Athletes! We are quickly approaching Memorial Day weekend. As some of you may know, every year we (along with thousands of other affiliates) participate in MURPH for Memorial day. MURPH is one of the most well known Hero WODs, named after LT. Michael P. Murphy. In honor of him, we will be participating in the MURPH workout at our affiliate this May. If you’d like to officially register, you’re more than welcome to. With registration, you can see how you rank up against other athletes, as well as give money to an amazing foundation through your official registration. The link to register is in our blog!

Wednesday’s WOD is posted! Also, we need all of your help in finding a lost ring in the gym. One of our athletes misplaced his wedding ring, it is a silver males wedding band, and we think it may have fallen into one of your workout bags! If you were in the 4:15pm, 5:15pm or even 6:15pm class, please check your bags/shoes and cubbie to see if you can find his ring. Thanks for your help!

Keith Berger: "Chief Operating Officer, Velo Solar. I've been at CFSC three years. Activities: spending time with my boys, swimming and reading. Favorite movement: anything cardio. Least favorite: double unders. My biggest achievement so far - mastering rope climb. Future goals: double unders and bar muscle up. My advice to anyone starting is to scale enough to learn the correct form and just enjoy WODs. Most people don't know I'm a pilot and like to fly small planes. P.S...
